“Today, the heating plant discovered a leak of the domestic water lines (both hot and cold) that feed all of Big Haus and the C wing of Crossroads.

They will make an emergency repair of these lines which is scheduled for tomorrow (Tuesday 12/1/09) morning. The work will begin at 7am and the residents of these two buildings will experience interrupted and/or shut off water service until approximately 11am.

When the water is turned back on, more than likely it will be brown in appearance as is customary with this type of repair. Should this happen, the students should allow the sinks/showers to run slightly until normal water color is returned.

The students that reside in those sections will have to use alternate facilities in either another res-hall or the gym while this repair is being conducted. In preparation for tomorrows shut please make plans to use the showers in each of your halls tonight.
